The Girl Next Door
Loosely based on Sabrina. Buffy Summers has only had eyes for Liam ‘Angel’ Giles since she was a girl, and it looks as if her dream may come true, that is unless his brother William has a say in it.
Stories All About Spuffy
Thank you for coming to visit! After a few years down, a revised version of Nocturnal Light is coming back online. It is work in progress as all of the stories have to be re-added, but slowly and surely, all stories previously available on Nocturnal Light will once again be published here. Note that as some stories were very long, they were broken down into several posts. Use the tag for the story to find all associated posts!

Spoilers through Chosen and Never Fade Away, goes AU after that. Buffy is once again mourning the loss of the men she loved when she receives an unusual visitor. It appears she may have a second chance (or should we call it a fourth or fifth chance?). Will she take it? Does he want her to?
William knew that she considered him a friend or maybe even a big brother, but she’d promised to marry him once and he had every intention of holding her to it. Just as soon as he worked up the nerve to remind her, that is. Who says you can’t find your soul-mate in preschool?
Starts season seven as Buffy collects Spike from the First’s cave and then veers off from cannon. When The First took Spike, Buffy….missed him. It was a hard revelation for her. Doing something about it could be even harder.
Season Six, Post Entropy…After Spike’s encounter with Anya in the Magic Box, Buffy’s not sure if she can forgive him for the hurt that she feels — until he shows up at her door, needing her more than he ever has before…where do a Slayer with iron walls around her thrice-broken heart, and a wounded, desperate vampire go from here? Who’s really to blame — for what’s happened to Spike, and for what’s happened between them? And somewhere, in the midst of it all — can the two of them find forgiveness, and the love that they both need so desperately?

Response to Challenge #195 at BSV… Early Season Four, immediately after Spike is chipped, Giles finds an ancient ritual that could solve their problem of what to do with the not-so-harmless vampire…but Buffy ends up getting a bit more than she bargained for in the process.

When Buffy runs into Spike in the basement of the new Sunnydale High, she doesn’t know what to think, or how to react…is there a chance for two broken souls to find healing together? I suck at summaries, but I think you’ll like this piece! It’s a b-day present for my dear friend Tamakin, who requested crazy!Spike H/C with a gentler Buffy and some Dawn/Spike friendship thrown in 🙂 Hope you all enjoy 🙂
Takes place in an AU where things went a little differently at the end of “What’s My Line”, and the Initiative came to town a bit earlier than in canon. Spike is not paralyzed in the church that night, but his unlife is still irrevocably changed. In a misguided attempt to restore her childe, Drusilla performs a spell that goes terribly wrong, and will change the course of not only Spike’s life, but the Slayer’s as well, forever.

Buffy has fallen in love with the work of an up and coming artist that has taken the world of art by storm… William Wellington, a known recluse. When presented with a rare opportunity to attend a private showing of his latest works, she accepts. As her evening unfolds, she meets a handsome, sophisticated stranger who harbors many dark and dangerous secrets. Her strong attraction for the mysterious man coupled with an unexpected gift changes the course of her life in a way she never could have imagined in her wildest of dreams.
Spike and Buffy have been giving a lot of thought to the hours they were engaged during Willow’s ‘Thy Will Be Done’ spell, wondering if the real thing would be just as good as it was then. Would they take the chance to discover it or would they just let opportunity pass them by?
