Welcome!

Thank you for coming to visit! After a few years down, a revised version of Nocturnal Light is coming back online. It is work in progress as all of the stories have to be re-added, but slowly and surely, all stories previously available on Nocturnal Light will once again be published here. Note that as some stories were very long, they were broken down into several posts. Use the tag for the story to find all associated posts!

Let’s Get Lost

She’d gone far far away from Sunnydale. From herself. Her name. Her calling. She didn’t want any contact with the old life. Much less him. That pain-in-the-ass vampire.

“Spike. What is this?” She wrenched herself free. “Since when do you help?”

Set immediately post-season 2. Buffy’s run all the way to NY, and encounters a Spike who feels he’s made a bad bargain.

Freedom

Set in the world of the The Wish. Instead of snapping Buffy’s neck, the Master keeps her imprisoned so that another Slayer can’t be called, and so that he will be free to carry out his plans. In the mean time he’s called the last of the Aurelius line, Drusilla and Spike, to help him run his new kingdom in Sunnydale.

The Island of Galleno

The moment that Spike finally has Buffy he is vamp-napped by Riley and a new officer, Jack Marshall and sent to the Island of Galleno by the Moroccan coast were all the leftovers of the Initiative are being placed. Buffy frantically looks for Spike but gets news that he was ‘accidentally killed’ by Jack, who decides to make Sunnydale his residence. The whole thing is Spike trying to get back to Sunnydale and Buffy thinking he’s dead. It’s filled with exotic places, tons of Original Characters, mysticism, enchantment, magic and love. It takes him years to find out who he is before he can find the one he loves.

Murphy’s Law

You know what it means… whatever can go wrong, will go wrong. ‘Murphy’s Law’ comes into play from the moment our two favorite blonds meet despite any initial attraction to one another. What’s the result when a womanizing genius and a prudish workaholic are forced together in every way with no choice but to deal with each other 24/7? Tons of UST! Will it ever get resolved, or will they kill each other first? …. “Tell me somethin’, pet. Wha’s the real reason for your knickers bein’ in a twist aside from the possibility you put your plug in sideways?” …. “The fact you’re still breathing is number one on a very long list of reasons and oh-my-God… crude much?” Romance, comedy and mild angst.

Living for Love

Buffy is back in California after spending her summer in Paris falling in love with a shy Frenchman named William. Will their long-distance love survive the test of time or will distance prove too much for them? Third and last installment of the ‘Love’ trilogy. I highly suggest reading in sequence ‘Language of Love’ then ‘Lessons in Love’ before ‘Living for Love’. PWP.

Language of Love

While visiting Paris for the summer, Buffy is instantly attracted to a shy bartender. Problem? She doesn’t speak French and he can’t understand English. With a little nudge from their helpful friends, they find themselves in a situation where they must communicate. Can the barrier be overcome in other ways?

Lessons in Love

Sequel to ‘Language of Love’. With the language barrier still intact, as well as William’s virginity, our couple is now on the road driving back to Buffy’s summer residence in France. Will they make it there before their hormones get the better of them? I strongly encourage you to read ‘Language of Love’ first, (3 chapters long), it will help make sense out of this story. Now that this is officially a sequel, I deem it porn with healthy dollop of plot as opposed to a smidgeon.

In the Army Now

Buffy joins the military and heads off to Basic Training. The Boot Camp experience can be rough enough to endure, but there’s something, or rather someone that will make her time spent becoming a soldier ten times worse – a Drill Sergeant sent straight from the bowels of hell that takes an instant dislike to her mere presence…………. Spike. He’s evil, he’s mean, he hates her but even worse… he lusts for her. This is not a military fic or even a fic about the military. The Army serves only as the backdrop-setting to the story, so don’t shy away from reading. Winner of Best Fantasy at Love’s Last Glimpse Awards, round 19. Spuffy Awards Round 13: Judges Choice; Most Original Plot, Best Fantasy Saga. Readers Choice: Best Fantasy We Missed the Bed Again. Judges hand picked for special acknowledgment.

A New Bird

What if Ford had hit Buffy a little harder? First scene completely taken from Lie to Me then pretty much AU after that, with a line or two of dialogue pinched here and there – you’ll recognize them. Also, the gang never showed up at the Sunset Club (Gang meaning Angel, etc.)

Taken

Buffy and Spike have recently split up and are trying to move on with their lives. Will they succeed in moving on or can Dawn bring them back together again?
