Welcome!

Thank you for coming to visit! After a few years down, a revised version of Nocturnal Light is coming back online. It is work in progress as all of the stories have to be re-added, but slowly and surely, all stories previously available on Nocturnal Light will once again be published here. Note that as some stories were very long, they were broken down into several posts. Use the tag for the story to find all associated posts!

Fevered

When Buffy gets the flu, it’s up to Spike to kiss it and make it all better. Set in a somewhat happier early S6.

Balancing the Scales

Elizabeth Summers is a rising star in the Boston District Attorney’s Office. The only thorn in her side is her ex-boyfriend, William ‘Spike’ Albrook, P.I. But when Spike is accused of murder, Elizabeth alone rushes to his defense and, in the process, comes to rediscover the fire she left behind in her race to the top.

A Day Out

Early summer after Season 4. Buffy decides to spend a cloudy day at the mall, only to discover that a certain annoying, hyperactive, peroxide vampire had the same idea. Much wackiness ensues.

Blue Horizons

All her life Elizabeth has done exactly what everyone expects of her. Now in her first year of college, she discovers the vast possibilities in life. But can she escape the ghosts of her past and find the courage to explore the new paths before her…including the affections of an infuriating young sophomore named William ‘Spike’ Giles?

Open All Night

This is the sequel to my story “No Vacancy”. It takes place in S3 in Sunnydale. Have-itch-will-travel Spike visits Buffy…they enjoy an entrée of truth, but it comes with a side order of consequences.

Furlough

Post-AtS, Not Fade Away. Buffy and Dawn travel to England to get updated on the latest averted apocalypse.

Truce

Buffy tries unsuccessfully to reach Acathla before Angelus does and finds common ground with Spike instead. Originally written for the Spuffy Kinkathon, Contains S2 Spike and Buffy, locked in a confined space with no way to escape over a longish period of time, plus some H/C, snark, chocolate and no Wussy!Spike.

Southern Comfort

Charleston in the 1850s – Elizabeth Crawford doesn’t think much of men in general, they’ve always let her down. Will the dashing Englishman William Montgomery be able to change her mind? Or is he willing to try?

Awakenings

Buffy’s parents are killed and she comes to live with her uncle, Giles, who is a professor at UC-Sunnydale. There she meets the gang, Willow, Cordelia, Angel, Xander and William and they grow up together. To fulfill provisions in her parent’s will, Buffy, accompanied by Willow, goes to England to finish high school and returns 3 years later to find what her future holds for her.
