When Buffy finds out Spike’s alive, she shows up in Los Angeles to demand answers, only to find herself immediately immersed in a web of deceit and betrayal. Who to trust becomes the million dollar question, and her life turns into a race to solve it. Before it’s too late for everyone.
Canon through BtVS, AU for AtS, season 5. A decade after closing the Hellmouth and doing time in Hell, Spike is living in San Francisco, a lone vampire in a world nearly wiped clean of demons, when Buffy unexpectedly finds her way back to him.
Set in an alternate Angel S5, wherein Andrew tells Buffy that Spike’s alive after Damage and she does something about it, upsetting the power structure while she’s at it.
Post-Destiny on AtS. Buffy finds herself flung in an alternate reality.
Set at the end of Chosen. Spoilers up to Ep 5:8 of “Angel”. Buffy and Co stop in L.A. before going on to start the new Council and find the new Slayers. One new Slayer in L.A. is April Simms, who now has a special mission from Buffy. Will April find something worth bringing Buffy back to Los Angeles?
